Summer school of alternatives in economics3rd-9th July 2004Held by the Upper Mill - civic association
The aim of the project is to present participants with contemporary concepts of ecological economics and other alternative trends in economics. We will also discuss practical implications and possibilities in the Czech Republic. The summer school is aimed first of all at students of economics and environmental sciences, at their teachers. But we also welcome people from NGO´s, public administration and the general public. Knowledge of basic principles of economics will be an advantage. Number of participants is limited to 25. Course fee is CZK 1,000 (EUR 35). It includes a modest accommodation in own sleeping bags and food during the whole summer school. Course language is czech. A few lectures will be held in english. The summer school is being managed by Stanislav Kutáček (The Upper Mill - civic association; works in Transport Research Centre in Brno) and Hana Foltýnová (works in Centre for environmental issues of The Charles University in Prague); with substantial help of Naďa Johanisova (teaches at Pedagogical faculty of South-Bohemian University and at Faculty of Social Sciences of Masaryk University in Brno). |
